Calvary Baptist Renton is entering our 66th year, grateful for our past and anticipating our future.  Beginning with the New Year, Calvary is plotting a new destination and is inviting all to come along for the ride.

In the opening chapter of the Book of Revelation, the Risen Christ appears majestically to encourage His churches and spur them on to steadfast endurance.  His specific messages to His churches are recorded by His beloved disciple, John, in Chapters Two and Three.  They are as relevant today as they were in the First Century A.D.

Worship at Calvary for the next few Sundays will unpack those messages as “CHRIST SPEAKS TO HIS CHURCH.”

This Sunday, May 15, Seattle Church Planters, HAGGAI AND MARY HABILA, will be our special guests in worship and in a church-wide luncheon immediately following.

The public is invited.

In the Bible, sacred assemblies were God-given opportunities for His people to reflect, remember, repent and renew their relationships with Him.  In the New Testament, Communion (the Lord’s Supper) provides that opportunity.

With the beginning of summer, Calvary will engage in twenty-eight days of personal and small group reflections in preparation for the celebration of our next Lord’s Supper.  The book, COME TO THE LORD’S TABLE will be our guide as we seek to reflect upon God’s great love expressed on the Cross as we conduct a searching inventory of our lives in terms of that love.

You can pick up a copy of the book and sign up for the four small group sessions during worship in May.

Worship at Calvary begins at 11:00 and is preceded by Sunday morning Small Groups for all ages at 9:30.
